On Thursday, October 26, you can head to the Caramel Crisp Bookstore for their “Writers, Witches and Wine” event, where you can meet local authors of romantic and supernatural fiction, and sample Halloween-themed wine.
The event will be held from 5 – 6:30pm, and welcomes Ursula Klein and Charlotte Greene, two local authors that are married! Charlotte has written Gnarled Hollow and From the Woods, two stories containing paranormal adventure and mystery. Ursula is the director of Women’s and Gender Studies at UW Oshkosh, and her book, Enchanted Autumn, combines a mix of magic and romance against the backdrop of Salem, Massachusetts.
Both writers have been published by Bold Strokes Books, an independent publisher known for its wide-ranging selection of LGBTQ+ fiction.
On top of engaging with the local authors, Caramel Crisp will provide tastings of their Halloween-themed wines, including their Hallo-wine and Mummy Moscato.
What better way to get in the Halloween spirit than a good book and some festive wine?
