APPLETON, WI — A January 23rd trial date is set for a man accused of kidnapping a woman and her child from the Fox River Mall. Jay Scott is charged in Outagamie County Court with Carjacking with Force, Kidnapping, Child Abduction, and Armed Robbery. Scott allegedly pulled a knife on the woman in the mall parking lot last month–forcing her to drive to A-T-M’s in the area and withdraw cash. He faces up to 190-years in prison if convicted.
