The Green Bay Police Department will use a new tactic to increase safety at the scene of traffic stops. Officers are learning how to conduct a “traffic break”, where a squad car matches the speed of traffic approaching the scene of a roadside hazard and then moves across all lanes of traffic, gradually slowing the other cars.
