TOWN OF HORTONIA, Wis. — One person is hospitalized following a crash in Outagamie County.
The sheriff’s office says an eastbound vehicle driven by a 45-year-old Appleton man struck another eastbound vehicle operated by a 44-year-old Appleton man on State Highway 15 in the town of Hortonia around 8:45 p.m. Saturday. The striking vehicle overturned and caught fire.
The 45-year-old was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. The 44-year-old was treated on scene and released.
Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
