HARRISON, Wis. — A Fox Crossing woman is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Harrison.
The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office says the 40-year-old was struck by a pickup truck on State Highway 114 near Pigeon Road shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The 40-year-old Sherwood man driving the truck was not hurt.
Investigators believe poor visibility due to rain was a factor in the crash.
