APPLETON, Wis–Appleton Police Chief Polly Olson pens a letter to the community following a downtown shooting incident. Elijah Dodson of Milwaukee was shot and killed along the 100-block of Walnut Street in the early morning hours of Christmas Eve.
Chief Olson expresses her condolences for Dodson’s family. The chief adds that their search for the shooter continues. Appleton Police will be stepping up patrols in the downtown area in the wake of this incident.
