An independent hearing officers determines the town of Grand Chute did nothing wrong in terminating the employment of a long-time employee. John Urban is suing Human Resources Director Susanne Brinkman in federal court for wrongful termination.
The hearing officer found that Urban did partake in the actions alleged in his notice of termination in November of last year: including insubordinate behavior, violating safety rules, insulting managers and other Public Works employees, and lying to town officials and attorneys looking into his behavior.

The findings of the I-H-O has been filed by Brinkman in the federal lawsuit, seeking its dismissal.
