MANITOWOC, Wis–Bond is set at $15,000 cash for the mother of a missing boy in Two Rivers. Police are recommending one count of Child Neglect against Katrina Baur in connection with the disappearance of her three-year old son Elijah Vue. Vue was reported missing on Tuesday.
Another man arrested in connection with the incident, Jesse Vang, is being held on $20,000 cash bond. Police also recommend charging him with child neglect.
Prosecutors say Baur told them that she sent Vue to live with Vang for “discipline”. She also allegedly lied about her whereabouts the day her son went missing.
Vang is on supervised release on a federal Distribution of Meth conviction last year. He recently completed 60-days on electronic monitoring for violating the terms of that release.
Meanwhile, investigators and the F-B-I continue to comb a Calumet County landfill where waste from Two Rivers is dumped. Police are also asking anyone with home security or doorbell camera footage dating back to February 12th to check for any sign of the boy.
