APPLETON, Wis–The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department confirms that they recovered a body from the Fox River last Friday afternoon. A kayaker near Peabody Park in Appleton reported seeing the body in the water.
Police say it was a middle-aged man that appeared to have been in the river for some time. An autopsy is being conducted. No other information has been released.
