FOND DU LAC, Wis–A Milwaukee woman is in custody after allegedly leading Fond du Lac County Police officers on a high-speed chase. The 37-year old hit speeds of 88-miles an hour along some city streets before getting onto Interstate 41 around 10:45 Sunday night following a report of shoplifting. She would eventually surrender without incident.
Police say the woman is a “habitual shoplifter”, with several criminal cases pending. She is facing further charges of Felony Retail Theft, Fleeing an Officer, and Bail Jumping.
