APPLETON, Wis–The Appleton School Board approves pay raises for all employees next year. Teachers, para-professionals, and support staff are all getting 3.11% compensation increases.

The pay increases came after negotiations with the Appleton Education Association broke down. Board member Ed Ruffalo is concerned that the two sides can’t reach an agreement each year……..
Act 10 allows the district to impose a contract on the teachers’ union, so long as it matches cost of living increases.
