OSHKOSH, WI — Oshkosh Police say a convicted sex offender is being released as homeless on July 30. 24-year-old Vernon Oppermann is being released after serving prison time for a 2014 convictiong of exposure to a 15-year-old female he knew and four counts of possession of child pornography. Oppermann is on lifetime GPS monitoring and on probation until August of 2030. More information on Vernon Oppermann is available through the Oshkosh Police Department at (920) 236-5700.
