APPLETON, Wis. — Sand and bags are available to Appleton residents starting Tuesday in preparation for potential future flooding.
Residents will have to fill the provided bags and load them into their own vehicles. That means bringing your own shovels.
While any vehicle is welcomed, city officials recommend, if possible, using pickup trucks to transport the sandbag to local residences.
The sand and bags are available until Friday at Memorial Park on Witzke Boulevard from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
