APPLETON, Wis. — A Little Chute man is arrested in connection with a hit-and-run accident in Appleton that critically injured another man.
The Appleton Police Department responded to a report of a bicycle crash in the 400 block of N. Meade Street around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with significant injuries. His name and condition are not being released out of respect for him and his family.
Appleton police officers identified the vehicle involved, which led to the arrest of 28-year-old Alic Riedel, who’s in the Outagamie County Jail on a charge of Hit and Run Causing Great Bodily Harm.
The investigation is ongoing.
