LITTLE CHUTE, Wis. — A 17-year-old South Carolina boy is identified as a main suspect in a beating that left a Little Chute homeowner with serious injuries.
The 17-year-old is accused of attacking the man as he tried to break up a fight involving as many as 20 people along E. Lincoln Avenue during Cheesefest back in June.
Fox Valley Metro Police Lt. Mark Wery tells our TV partner Action 2 News that the teen was in the area just for the summer. He adds that police used video and photo evidence of the attack to track down the suspect.
The Outagamie County District Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case and has not yet filed charges.
