APPLETON, WI — Cops, kids and the community celebrate the completion of a community mural in downtown Appleton. The work of art entitled “It Takes All of Us” on the Elm Street side of police headquarters is dedicated during a celebration Thursday. Appleton Police Lieutenant Meghan Cash tells Hayley Tenpas on “Focus Fox Valley” the finished mural is the culmination of a long time vision. Lt. Cash says the experience also serves as a lesson in community team work.
Artist Irineo Medina helped with the murals design. The combined efforts of Appleton Police officers, members of the Boys and Girls Club and others helped bring it to life.
