OSHKOSH, Wis–Oshkosh Police have a suspect in custody following the attempted robbery of an armored truck. The 22-year old Oshkosh man reportedly tried to disarm a Loomis truck employee as he was servicing an A-T-M in a business in the 200-block of West 20th Avenue just after 1:00 this (Friday) afternoon.
Three witnesses inside the business wrestled the suspect to the ground before he could grab the weapon. The armored truck driver then held the man at gunpoint until police arrived.
No one was hurt in the incident. Criminal charges are pending.
