OSHKOSH, Wis. — Fire destroys an Oshkosh home.
Crews were called to the house along the 1300 block of Liberty Street around 2:20 p.m. Monday to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the rear.
One person inside was taken to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
Officials say four pets were not killed, correcting what had been initially reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
