GREEN BAY, Wis–Green Bay Police are asking Facebook users to not share a post about a missing officer.
The post claims that “female officer” Kate McArthur is the subject of a Silver Alert and is in need of medical care. Silver Alerts are only issued for missing seniors.
The department says the post is part of a nationwide social media scam.
