BEAVER DAM, Wis. — The man arrested in the case of a missing, pregnant teenage girl from Beaver Dam is now in the custody of Wisconsin law enforcement.
WISN-TV says 40-year-old Gary Day of Arkansas was extradited from Nebraska to Wisconsin Wednesday.
He was arrested earlier this month at an Omaha-area truck stop following a 911 call from a citizen. Police arrived and also found Sophia Franklin, who’s pregnant with Day’s child.
Both disappeared in February from Franklin’s home in Beaver Dam. She has since been reunited with her family.
