TOWN OF WASHINGTON, Wis. — A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Shawano County.
The 32-year-old Shawano-area man was reportedly struck along Highway HH in the town of Washington around 4:15 a.m. Monday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 38-year-old Keshena-area man driving the vehicle stayed at the scene and was cooperative with sheriff’s deputies.
The incident remains under investigation.
