Everybody loves a good pasta recipe. And this one includes stuffed, jumbo shells with a creamy, delicious cheese sauce. It doesn’t get much better than that! You’ll find yourself coming back to this one again and again. Enjoy!

Stuffed Shells with Cheese Sauce
Ingredients:
- 20 jumbo macaroni shells
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 2 T. chopped onion
- 2 T. cooking oil
- 2 cups cream-style cottage cheese
- 1 (10-oz.) package frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
- Dash of pepper
Sauce:
- 2 T. chopped onion
- 2 T. cooking oil
- 3 T. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Dash of pepper
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Sauce Directions: Sauté onion in oil until soft. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Stir in milk and chicken broth until thick and bubbly. Stir in cheese.
Directions: Cook shells according to package directions. Drain. Cook celery and onion in hot oil until tender. Drain. Mix with cheese, spinach, egg, salt, oregano, and pepper. Fill shells with the mixture.
To Assemble: Pour half of sauce into a 12x7x2 baking dish. Arrange filled shells in dish. Drizzle remaining sauce over shells. Bake, covered, at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
