BLACK CREEK, Wis. — Thursday marks the end of watch for the Black Creek Police Department.
In a post on the department’s Facebook page, village police chief Rick Olig announces that police coverage in Black Creek will be covered by the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office effective Friday, Aug. 1.
Olig used the post to thank citizens for their encouragement and support.
In addition to Chief Olig, the Black Creek Police Department was staffed by five part-time officers.
