APPLETON, Wis. — There are three $50,000 winners in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing in Wisconsin. That includes one in our area.
One of those winning tickets was sold at the Kwik Trip at 2120 E. Edgewood Drive in Appleton. The two other tickets were old in Verona and Milwaukee.
The winners have six months to claim their prizes. No winning tickets were drawn for the Powerball jackpot, which grows to $1.7 billion for Saturday’s drawing.
That’s the third largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history.
