TOWN OF GILLETT, Wis. — One person is dead — two others are hurt — following a crash in Oconto County.
The sheriff’s office says an SUV crossed the centerline along State Highway 22 in the town of Gillett and struck a pickup truck shortly before 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
The 24-year-old Gillett man driving the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. A 2-year-old riding in that vehicle, along with the 22-year-old Sobieski man driving the truck, were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
