APPLETON, Wis–Criminal charges are filed in connection with a fatal traffic crash in Appleton. Carter Green of Larsen is facing counts of First Degree Reckless Homicide and OWI Causing Injury in Outagamie County Court.
According to the criminal complaint, the 18-year old Green had a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit and was doing an estimated 130-miles an hour in the 35-mile an hour zone at the North Richmond Street interchange along Interstate 41 Saturday night before colliding with another vehicle. The driver of the other car, Casey Sjoberg of Appleton, died at the scene, while a passenger was injured.
Green faces up to 60-years in prison if convicted.
