WAUTOMA, WI — A Wautoma High School student is being held after a reported school threat and concerns about possible weapons at the school.
Wautoma Police say the 16-year-old boy told a social worker he was going to commit a shooting and would be targeting law enforcement officers. The teen’s family also reported guns missing from their home.
Police officers were dispatched to the school after the school resource officer was notified of the threat. The teen was taken into custody minutes later and no weapons were found at the school.
The 16-year-old boy is now at a juvenile detention facility in Waushara County.
