OSHKOSH, Wis. — A Wolf River man who killed his parents while they slept will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Erik Metzig is sentenced in Winnebago County Court to life in prison without the possibility of parole on two counts of first-degree intentional homicide.
Metzig shot David and Jan Metzig to death in their beds back in March of 2023.
