WINNECONNE, Wis. — A traffic stop in the village of Winneconne ends in the arrest of a 47-year-old Oshkosh man and the seizure of multiple bags of crack and powder cocaine.
A Winneconne police officer pulled over a vehicle after multiple traffic violations just before 4 p.m. Monday. The officer noticed several indicators of the presence of illegal narcotics.
A K-9 search of the vehicle turned up the prepacked baggies of powder and crack cocaine, crack pipes and drug paraphernalia, cash and a cellphone.
The driver and only occupant of the vehicle is in the Winnebago County Jail on charges including possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony bail jumping and operating a motor vehicle while revoked. He was out on a signature bond for a felony drug-related case prior to the traffic stop and arrest.
