MADISON, Wis. — A Marion-based manufacturer takes home the honor of making the “Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin.”
Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce along with Johnson Financial Group announces that Search and Rescue 1000 Island Airboats is the 2025 winner of “Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin.” That follows multiple rounds of online voting at WMC’s website.
The 1000 Island Airboats allow law enforcement and search and rescue teams to respond to calls in areas that other vehicles cannot access.
