LITTLE CHUTE, Wis. — The village of Little Chute is removing a pedestrian crosswalk along County Highway 00.
Village and school district officials have been concerned about kids using the crossing at Taylor Street to access Little Chute High School and Middle School.
The T intersection does not require traffic on Highway 00 or North Street to stop, and there have been several close calls involving students in recent years.
Students will be encouraged to cross the highway at either Buchanan Street or Freedom Road.
