OSHKOSH, Wis. — An out-of-state car crash kills an Oshkosh firefighter. In a Facebook post, the Oshkosh Fire Department says firefighter/paramedic Tom Diener was killed in a crash in Indiana.
He and two other firefighters, Carter Haen and Robbie Betts, were returning to Wisconsin from a work-related trip. Haen and Betts were injured in the crash, though their conditions have not been released.
The Oshkosh Fire Department says a donation page is being establish with the Professional Firefighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation in Diener’s memory and to support Haen and Betts. More information can be found by clicking here.
