OSHKOSH, Wis. — An inmate is dead following a fight at the Oshkosh Correctional Institution. Oshkosh police say the 43-year-old man was involved in a physical altercation with two other inmates around 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim was secured by OCI staff, then suffered a medical emergency. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died Thursday morning.
The names of those involved have not been released. Oshkosh police are handling the investigation.
