MANITOWOC COUNTY, Wis. — One person is dead — another is hurt — following a crash in Manitowoc County.
The sheriff’s office says a car left the southbound side of State Highway 32/57 in the Kiel area, crossed over the median and was struck by a northbound SUV around 7 a.m. Saturday.
The 17-year-old Sheboygan girl driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The 65-year-old Port Washington man operating the SUV was taken to a medical facility for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
