FOND DU LAC COUNTY, Wis. — Five people are arrested following a high-speed chase in Fond du Lac County.
A sheriff’s deputy tried to stop the vehicle — which came back as stolen — along Rolling Meadows Drive in Lamartine Sunday.
The vehicle reportedly took off and got onto State Highway 23, making u-turns in the road to avoid running over stop sticks.
The chase ended after 24 miles when the vehicle went off the road and into a ditch.
The driver — a 20-year-old Black Creek man — and four passengers were taken into custody without further incident.
Criminal charges are pending.
