FOND DU LAC, Wis. — Criminal charges are filed against a Fond du Lac woman accused of starving her son to death.
Tina Beauprey is facing one count of child neglect with a consequence of death in Fond du Lac County Court.
According to the criminal complaint, Beauprey failed to provide food to her 12-year-old son, who weighed just 56 pounds when he was brought to St. Agnes Hospital on Dec. 5. She told investigators that the boy’s low weight was due to muscular dystrophy.
Beauprey faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
