GREEN BAY, Wis. — Criminal charges are filed in connection with an alleged fatal drunk driving crash in Ashwaubenon.
Douglas Proehl of Luxemburg is facing one count of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and OWI causing injury.
Proehl had reportedly been drinking before running a red light and smashing into a car at the intersection of Lombardi Avenue and Holmgren Way on Jan. 30. Seventeen-year-old Chloe Bishop was killed, and her father, Danny, was seriously injured.
Proehl faces up to 46 years in prison if convicted.
