APPLETON, Wis. — Criminal charges are filed against an Appleton man accused of trying to kill his wife.
Rolando Barrera is facing one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide in Outagamie County Court.
According to the criminal complaint, Barrera stabbed the 43-year-old woman in the face and chest during an argument at their Graceland Avenue home last Sunday. The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
Barrera faces up to life in prison if convicted.
