A local expert says CVS buying Aetna could be a sign of change in the health care industry.
John Ulness is a co-owner of Ulness Health Insurance and Wellness. He says companies are trying to find ways to reduce costs. He says the deal could change how people receive care. He says people could go to pharmacies instead of health clinics, which puts pressure on hospitals to keep customers.
Ulness says the consumer will decide the future of the industry.
He says people have the power to go where they want as more options are available and the companies will follow.
CVS is paying about $69 billion for Aetna. The company insures almost 22 million people.
