APPLETON, Wis. — One person is hurt in an Appleton house fire.
Crews were called to the home in the 3000 block of N. Meade Street around 5:20 p.m. Wednesday on the report of flames in the kitchen.
One person was rescued and taken to the hospital where their condition is unknown.
Damage is estimated at $80,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
