MENASHA, Wis. — The Menasha Parks Department finds a creative use for a cut-down tree.
The Oak Throne is made from the stump of a tree felled in Smith Park last year.
Park users are encouraged to sit on the “throne” and take pictures.
A cross-cut of the trunk of that tree showed rings dating back 280 years.
