APPLETON, Wis. — A federal judge orders Air Wisconsin to turn over information related to a hard landing involving one of its aircraft two years ago.
The Federal Aviation Administration took the airline to court after learning of the incident at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago in March of 2024.
The landing was so forceful that the aircraft had to be taken out of service for repairs, but the incident was never reported to the FAA.
Air Wisconsin had argued that the FAA did not have the authority to force them to release records that would include the names of those involved in the incident.
