Another website says Appleton is one of the best small cities in the country.
Travelalot.com released a list of the top 30 cities, and Appleton is 21st. The site highlights the new Fox Cities Exhibition Center. It also mentions downtown shopping, restaurants and coffee shops.
West Bend was 24th on the list.
