FOND DU LAC, Wis. — An elderly man is dead following a crash in Fond du Lac.
Police say the 79-year-old from North Fond du Lac ran through the intersection of W. Scott Street and N. Pioneer Road around 9:25 a.m. Tuesday, traveled down a hill, went airborne over the northbound lanes of Interstate 41 and landed in the median.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later.
It is believed the driver was suffering a medical emergency at the time of the crash.
