APPLETON, Wis. — A second person dies from injuries suffered in an alleged drunk driving crash in Appleton.
Alan Hopfensperger was in a car struck by a vehicle that reportedly ran a red light at Wisconsin Avenue and Meade Street last month.
Hopfensperger passed away Saturday. His wife, Margaret, died from her injuries on April 24.
The driver of the other car, a 17-year-old Appleton boy, suffered serious injuries. He is likely to be charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
