TOWN OF CHILTON, Wis. — One person is dead following a Calumet County crash.
The sheriff’s office says a sport utility vehicle driven by a 39-year-old Shawano man pulled out from a stop sign and collided with a dump trunk at the intersection of State Highway 57 and County Highway PP in the town of Chilton around 11:10 a.m. Monday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The 72-year-old Luxemburg man driving the dump truck was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
