GREEN BAY, Wis. — Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is arrested on domestic violence charges.
Jacobs was booked into the Brown County Jail Tuesday on two felony counts of strangulation and misdemeanor counts of battery, disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and intimidation of a victim.
According to Hobart/Lawrence police, officers responded to a report of a disturbance involving Jacobs around 8:35 a.m. Saturday. No further details on the incident have been released.

In a statement, Jacobs’ attorneys say their client “vehemently denies the allegations.” A Packers spokesperson says the team is aware of the matter and will withhold further comment at this time.

Jacobs is expected to make a court appearance after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
