(MENASHA, WI) — Drones are now banned above the tornado damage areas in Menasha, Neenah and Fox Crossing.
The Federal Aviation Administration has set up a “no fly zone” above a circle containing the hardest hit areas–meaning un-manned aircraft are not allowed to fly.
Fox Crossing Police Community Liason Officer Dan Wiechman says the “no fly zone” will improve safety and allow agencies to fly their own drones without interference.
The drone ban will be in effect through Saturday.
