FREEDOM, Wis. — Six people are hurt — including two children — in a three-vehicle crash in Outagamie County.
The sheriff’s office says a pickup truck ran a stop sign at the intersection of county highways S and C in the town of Freedom around 6:30 p.m. Saturday and collided with an SUV. The pickup truck careened into a house, while the SUV struck another vehicle entering the intersection.
The driver of the SUV, a 39-year-old Larsen man, was airlifted to ThedaCare Medical Center Neenah with critical injuries. A 34-year-old Larsen woman riding with him was seriously hurt. Two children, ages 1 and 3, suffered minor injuries. The 60-year-old Center man driving the pickup truck and the 64-year-old Center woman riding with him were both seriously injured. The 36-year-old Appleton man operating the third vehicle was treated at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
