APPLETON, Wis. — Humans weren’t the only creatures using a downtown Appleton parking ramp this week.
A security camera captured a raccoon on one of the stairwells in the Yellow Ramp Thursday morning.
The animal was safely removed from the structure.
City officials encourage anyone who encounters a raccoon on a parking ramp stairwell to leave it alone and use the elevator instead.
